CarbonView Wins ‘Innovation In Carbon Management 2010’ Award

19 January 2010

It was announced today that the United Kingdom’s Institute of Transport Management has recognized CarbonView with the Innovation in Carbon Management 2010 Award.

In granting the Award, Mr. Patrick Sheedy, the Institute’s Media and PR Director, observed that, “Without a doubt, one of the biggest challenges facing businesses today is the carbon footprint issue. Recycling is one thing; restructuring business practices to alter the carbon emissions which permeate all companies — but especially those in the transport industry — is a tremendous undertaking. It is fortunate, therefore, that we have some companies which are pushing the boundaries of technology in order to help businesses to simultaneously tackle the need to reduce emissions and to increase or at least protect profits. CarbonView is one of them.”

CarbonView is a sustainable carbon management solution for organizations seeking to improve their emissions and overall business performance. CarbonView goes beyond simply looking at the utility bill level to providing real-time visibility into carbon emissions and energy consumption across the enterprise, or throughout the supply chain.

CarbonView has been successful in the market because it enables organizations to measure, monitor and mitigate their carbon emissions and our customers generally save money during the journey. Industry review and recognition from the Institute of Transport Management is important and appreciated.

Mr. Sheedy went on to say that, “Following extensive sector-by-sector research by the Institute’s Award accreditation team in the field of ‘green’ innovation, the team was highly impressed by the sophistication and relevance of CarbonView. I congratulate [the company] on its triumph with the Institute’s accreditation scheme for its CarbonView solution and wish the company all the best in future efforts to produce effective products for the key business issues of our times.”
